Great to meet you!
My path to becoming a counselor has been unique one; prior to returning to school in 2008 for my master’s degree in clinical psychology I was a Journeyman plumber in Chicago. Through my own personal growth with a counselor, it became clear that I was denying my true calling. Connecting with people on the purest most real level is an honor and a privilege! Once I left plumbing, I returned to school part-time and started to work at an inpatient mental health hospital on their adult unit and in their intake department. I was providing level of care assessments in the emergency room and main hospital. This was truly a gift of experience and fellowship, and it allowed me to build a comprehensive knowledge base of all things related to mental health. I moved to Texas in 2015 and started my own practice and have loved serving this community ever since.
