Great to meet you!

I manage my own schedule, so please email me at [email protected] to arrange a session. I have more than 35 years of experience working with adults and couples and draw from a range of therapeutic approaches, from psychoanalytic to Internal Family Systems. I’ve also supervised therapists at Harvard University and have extensive experience working with LGBTQ+ and international clients. I believe singing and laughter are two of humanity’s greatest gifts.

My approach to therapy

I try to understand each person on their own terms, and we work together to make sense of how life’s challenges have taken shape over time, from childhood through the present. I aim to bring curiosity, perspective, and new ways of understanding your experience, while also exploring practical changes in how you relate to yourself and others. Along the way, I believe therapy needs to include moments of humor, warmth, and even fun.

What you can expect from me

Ultimately, I hope to help clients find new ways to understand and respond to the pain life brings, reduce the suffering that can grow from our reactions to that pain, and make more room for joy. Sometimes that means working through problems together, sometimes healing from trauma, and sometimes learning to listen to the body and to oneself in new ways.
