I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Texas at Tyler and a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Sam Houston State University. My background includes eight years as a prison psychotherapist and over a decade on the pastoral staff of a nondenominational Christian church. I’ve had the privilege of counseling a wide range of individuals facing a variety of life challenges.

My approach to therapy

My approach integrates modern psychotherapy with a spiritual (not necessarily religious) perspective. I aim to support growth and healing across all areas of life—psychological, physical, spiritual, and relational. I’ll work with you to make meaningful changes in thought and behavior while helping you explore what matters most.

Please note: I offer individual counseling only, not couples counseling.

What you can expect from me

After nearly a decade counseling incarcerated felons, I’ve heard just about everything—and I don’t judge. Your past doesn’t have to define your future. Clients often describe me as friendly, encouraging, and easy to talk to. You can expect practical, evidence-based strategies as well as thoughtful questions that challenge and expand how you view your problems—and your life.
