Great to meet you!

Neurodiversity-affirming therapy views neurological differences- like Autism/ADHD—as natural variations rather than disorders that need to be "fixed." Instead of focusing on making people appear normal, it helps clients understand their unique strengths & challenges, reduce shame, & develop self-advocacy to live authentic lives. I also provide EMDR and am training in psychedelic-assisted therapy.

You are not your disorder or your symptoms. You are a wonderfully complex human with painful wounds and awe-inspiring strengths - much like the rest of us. We can work together to remove the layers of armor, defenses, ineffective coping strategies, and scar tissue to find the person underneath - the person you are meant to be. Together, we can help you thrive with happiness and meaning despite an often difficult world. My practice is sex positive, culturally sensitive, and LGBTQ+ affirming. I honor all the ways we choose to live our lives. I look forward to meeting you, fellow human.

My approach to therapy

As an ADHDer myself, I bring a sense of curiosity, warmth, empathy, authenticity, and spontaneity to therapy - although I'll be 5 minutes chronically late (and we will make up time on the back end). Personally, I'm a sci/fi and horror fan and love music - vinyl and live shows. I'll often incorporate these interests into therapy.

What you can expect from me

In our first few sessions, I focus on getting to know you. Not only what is troubling you, but what drives you...your passions, your values, your interests. These are often gateways into deeper parts of who you are. I am warm and humorous. We will usually end by setting a couple of goals.
