Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, adjunct professor in the School of Criminal and Social Justice at Monroe University, and a school social worker at Bronx Charter School for the Arts. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a minor in Psychology from SUNY Albany and my Master of Social Work from Fordham University, where I was inducted into the Phi Alpha Honor Society. Throughout my career, I have gained extensive experience in behavioral health, community mental health, psychotherapy, substance abuse, family services, and school-based social work. My professional experience includes serving at Open Door Family Medical Center, The Guidance Center of Westchester, Mott Hall Charter School, and Bronx Charter School for the Arts. In my current work, she is committed to supporting at-risk youth and connecting students and families with resources that promote emotional wellness, confidence, independence, and healthy decision-making. I obtained my clinical social work licensure in 2021 and continues to collaborate with community organizations to expand access to mental health services and raise awareness about issues impacting youth and families, including gun violence and substance abuse.

My approach to therapy

I work with clients using a warm, supportive, and client-centered approach that allows them to feel heard, understood, and respected. My style is collaborative and strengths-based, helping clients build on their existing strengths while developing practical tools to manage life’s challenges. I have experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families with concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, and substance use. My goal is to help each client develop greater self-awareness, resilience, confidence, and skills that support meaningful and lasting change.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect their first session to be a welcoming, judgment-free space where they can feel comfortable sharing at their own pace. We will spend time discussing what brought them to therapy, exploring their current concerns, and identifying the goals they would like to work toward. Together, we will begin developing a personalized plan that focuses on their strengths, needs, and desired outcomes. My goal is for clients to leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about the therapeutic process.
