Great to meet you!

I believe the best mental health care begins with a trusting, collaborative relationship where you feel heard, respected and supported. My approach is compassionate, nonjudgmental, and tailored to your unique needs and goals. Together, we'll develop a treatment plan that may include medication, therapy, and practical strategies to help you build resilience, improve your well-being, and create lasting positive change. My goal is to help you feel empowered to become the healthiest version of yourself.

My approach to therapy

I begin by getting to know you through a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, taking time to understand your symptoms, history, strengths and goals. Together, we will develop a personalized treatment plan that fits your needs. I believe in shared-decision making so you will be an active partner in your care every step of the way. my goal is to help you feel supported and empowered in your journey towards improved mental wellness.

What you can expect from me

Your first appointment is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and is typically the longest visit, lasting 45-60 minutes. During this session, I'll complete a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, listen carefully to your concerns, and learn about your symptoms, history, goals and overall well-being. Medication may be recommended during the first visit if appropriate, but not every patient will need or receive a prescription right away. my priority is to listen first, understand your unique situation, and ensure we make thoughtful decisions together.
