Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with more than 20 years of experience providing compassionate mental health services to children, adolescents, and families. I’m skilled in helping clients navigate behavioral concerns, emotional challenges, trauma, anxiety, anger management, self-esteem issues, family conflict, and crisis situations. Throughout my career, I have worked closely with at-risk youth, foster care populations, and families facing complex emotional and behavioral challenges. In both English and Haitian Creole, my clinical approach is rooted in creating a safe, supportive, and culturally responsive environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to grow.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, open-minded, and solution-focused. I believe that every client is unique, so I tailor treatment to meet your individual needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. I am trained in trauma-informed care and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and I help clients develop practical coping skills while building a growth mindset. My goal is to create a trusting relationship where you feel safe, supported, and empowered to make meaningful, lasting changes.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a chance for us to get to know one another in a comfortable, supportive environment. I'll spend time learning about what brought you to therapy, what challenges you're facing, and what you hope to gain from the process. We'll review confidentiality, informed consent, and how therapy works, and I'll answer any questions you may have. By the end of the session, we'll have a better understanding of your needs and begin identifying goals that feel meaningful and realistic for you.
