Great to meet you!

Great to meet you! I'm a bilingual (Spanish and English) Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified School Counselor with over a decade of professional experience working with children, adolescents, and adults from diverse backgrounds. Whether you're a parent seeking support for your child, a teen navigating school or identity challenges, or an adult working through anxiety, depression, trauma, or relationship issues, I'm here to help.

I provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you can explore your experiences, gain insight, and work toward meaningful and lasting change. My background as a school counselor has given me a deep understanding of the unique pressures young people face, and my years working with adults have taught me how past experiences shape who we are today. I'm committed to helping individuals cultivate a more positive, self-affirming way of living.

My approach to therapy

My approach is client-centered and tailored to the unique needs of each individual. I integrate evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, mindfulness-based practices, and psychodynamic and attachment-based approaches. Through a holistic lens, I consider the emotional, psychological, and relational aspects of well-being to support deeper self-understanding and personal growth.

Through a collaborative process, we will identify patterns, strengthen coping strategies, and empower you to navigate challenges, build resilience, and move toward healing, growth, and self-acceptance. I believe therapy works best when we work together as partners, not when I simply tell you what to do.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we'll talk about what brought you in and what you're hoping will change. I'll ask questions to understand your story, your background, and your goals. If you're bringing in a child or teen, I'll make sure they feel comfortable and heard in a way that feels right for their age and needs.

You can expect a warm, nonjudgmental space where you feel safe to be yourself. My goal is for you to leave our first session feeling understood, supported, and hopeful about the path forward.
