Hi, I’m Johanna Dominguez, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida. I work with children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, emotional and behavioral concerns, family conflict, and other life transitions. I provide a warm and supportive space for clients and families to work through difficult experiences, feel understood, and move forward with confidence.
My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each person’s or family’s unique needs. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported without judgment. I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches based on your needs and goals rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. Together, we’ll create a space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions openly, build on your strengths, and develop practical tools to navigate life’s challenges.
Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what brought you to therapy. We’ll talk about your current concerns, your goals, and what you hope to get out of counseling. I’ll also take time to learn about you as a whole person, not just what you’re going through. My goal is for you to leave your first session feeling heard, comfortable, and with a clearer sense of how we can work together moving forward.
