Great to meet you!

I believe therapy should be a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and accepted for who you are. My approach is warm, compassionate, and collaborative, and I tailor therapy to each client’s individual needs, strengths, and goals.

I work with children, adolescents, adults, and families experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, autism, behavioral challenges, low self-esteem, emotional regulation difficulties, relationship concerns, and life transitions. I also provide family therapy to help improve communication, strengthen relationships, and create healthier family dynamics.

With over 6 years of experience in school, community, and clinical settings, I use evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, and Solution-Focused Therapy. My goal is to help you develop practical coping skills, build confidence, navigate challenges, and recognize your own strengths.

I provide services in both English and Spanish and strive to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental environment where you can feel comfortable being yourself.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, compassionate, collaborative, and individualized. I believe therapy works best when clients feel safe, heard, and understood without judgment. I take time to understand each client’s experiences, strengths, and goals and tailor treatment to their unique needs.

I use evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy. Together, we work on understanding thoughts and emotions, developing healthy coping strategies, improving communication and relationships, building confidence, and creating meaningful, lasting change.

When working with children and families, I incorporate age-appropriate and family-centered strategies to support emotional development, strengthen relationships, and improve communication at home. My goal is to meet clients where they are and help them move forward at a pace that feels comfortable and manageable.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a comfortable, trusting relationship. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what you’re currently experiencing, and what you hope to work on. I’ll also ask questions about your background, relationships, strengths, and any challenges that may be affecting your well-being.

There is no expectation that you have everything figured out before coming to therapy. My goal is to listen, understand your perspective, and create a space where you feel safe and comfortable being yourself. Together, we’ll begin identifying goals for therapy and discuss how I can best support you moving forward.

For children and adolescents, I also work collaboratively with parents or caregivers when appropriate to better understand their needs and support progress.
