Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience working with with children, adolescents and adults in a variety of settings. I take an individualized, holistic approach with each of my clients, using a mind-body-spirit approach along with the creative arts, symbolism and narrative techniques to encourage the expression of feelings. I am especially skilled at working with children and adolescents who have been impacted by divorce, abuse or neglect, adoption or foster care.

My approach to therapy

I enjoy helping individuals learn how to name their feelings, then guide and support as they establish effective coping strategies. My goal is to provide an environment, in which the client feels safe to process difficult emotions, improve self-awareness, discover individual strengths, increase self-confidence and cope with life stressors.

What you can expect from me

I hope to provide you with the tools needed to navigate difficult feelings and challenging circumstances. the first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and my intention is that you leave feeling safe, supported and hopeful.
