Great to meet you!

Hello, I’m Johanne Joseph, NP. I provide compassionate, patient-centered mental health care for individuals seeking support with their emotional well-being. My approach is collaborative, respectful, and tailored to each person’s goals, experiences, and needs.

I earned my Master’s degree from Chamberlain University and am licensed as a nurse practitioner in Florida. I believe that quality mental health care starts with listening. I work to create a comfortable, nonjudgmental space where clients can openly discuss their concerns and participate actively in their treatment decisions.

My practice focuses on thoughtful assessment, individualized treatment planning, and ongoing support. Together, we will identify practical steps toward improved well-being and develop a care plan that fits your life and priorities.

My approach to therapy

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and patient-centered. I believe that each client’s experiences, values, and goals should guide the treatment process. I create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients can discuss their concerns openly and feel heard.

I begin with a thorough evaluation to understand symptoms, history, strengths, and the factors affecting overall well-being. Together, we develop an individualized treatment plan that may include education, lifestyle support, medication management when appropriate, and coordination with therapists or other members of a client’s care team.

I value clear communication and shared decision-making. I explain treatment options, expected benefits, and possible side effects so clients can make informed choices. I also monitor progress over time and adjust the plan as needs and goals change. My focus is on helping clients build practical tools, improve daily functioning, and make meaningful progress toward feeling their best.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, you can expect a welcoming, respectful, and nonjudgmental space to share what has been affecting your mental health and what you hope to change. We will discuss your current concerns, symptoms, personal and medical history, previous treatment experiences, and any questions you may have.

Together, we will identify your priorities and begin developing an individualized care plan. This may include discussing medication options when appropriate, supportive strategies, therapy referrals or coordination, and practical goals to support your well-being. My goal is for you to leave the session feeling heard, with a clear understanding of next steps and a plan that feels realistic and aligned with your needs.
