Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed therapist and Afro-Latina dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with greater self-awareness, compassion, and confidence. As someone born in the Dominican Republic, I understand the importance of culture, family, identity, and the experiences that can shape how we understand ourselves and our mental health.

My work focuses on supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, life transitions, relationship concerns, and challenges related to identity and self-esteem. I also have a passion for making mental health care more accessible and culturally responsive, particularly within Latin, Black, and Brown communities where the stigma surrounding mental health exists.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and individualized. I believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy, so I tailor treatment to your unique needs, experiences, culture, and goals.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what brought you to therapy. We’ll talk about your current concerns, your personal and cultural background, what you hope to gain from therapy, and the areas of your life you would like to work on.

Together, we’ll begin identifying your goals and creating a treatment approach that feels realistic and meaningful to you.

My goal is for you to leave your first session feeling heard, understood, and hopeful about the process.

I believe therapy should be a space where you feel heard, respected, and understood—not judged. My goal is to meet you where you are and help you develop the insight, tools, and confidence to move toward the life you want.
