Great to meet you!

I bring over 35 years of experience in the field of therapy. As a family therapist, I view each client within the broader context of the systems they’re part of—whether that’s through conjoint, sequential, or individual work. This perspective allows me to better understand patterns, relationships, and dynamics that may be influencing their experiences and challenges.

My approach to therapy

I have extensive training in several evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Family Systems, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). This diverse foundation allows me to tailor my approach to each client’s unique needs and goals.

Through a family systems lens, I explore how relationships, patterns, and environments influence thoughts and behaviors. Using solution-focused techniques, I help clients identify strengths, build on what’s already working, and move toward meaningful, achievable change. With CBT, I support clients in understanding the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, while developing practical strategies to shift unhelpful patterns.

By integrating these approaches, I’m able to provide flexible, collaborative, and goal-oriented care that supports lasting growth and meaningful progress.

What you can expect from me

My office offers a warm, welcoming, and relaxed environment where clients can feel comfortable being themselves. I aim to create a space that is both professional and approachable, helping to ease any anxiety that can come with starting therapy.

During our initial session, we’ll take time to get to know one another and discuss what’s bringing you in. I’ll listen carefully to your concerns, experiences, and goals, and together we’ll begin to develop a personalized treatment plan based on your unique needs and priorities. This plan is collaborative and flexible, meaning it can evolve over time as we gain deeper insight and as your goals shift.

My goal from the very beginning is to ensure you feel heard, supported, and actively involved in the process, so we can work together toward meaningful and lasting change.
