Great to meet you!

Life can place tremendous demands on us—personally, professionally, and emotionally. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, burnout, relationship challenges, substance use concerns, or simply feeling overwhelmed, you do not have to navigate it alone.

As the founder of Forge Mindset Counseling and Coaching, I believe that healing begins with feeling heard, understood, and supported. I also believe that adversity, when met with the right guidance, tools, and perspective, can become a catalyst for growth and lasting change. With more than 20 years of counseling and leadership experience, I have helped individuals, families, professionals, and leaders navigate life's challenges while building resilience, restoring balance, and moving forward with confidence.

My approach to therapy

My professional background includes community mental health, crisis intervention, hospital behavioral health services, substance use treatment, outpatient therapy, and employee assistance counseling. These experiences have provided me with a deep understanding of the emotional and psychological challenges people face across all stages of life and career.

My therapeutic approach is warm, direct, and strength-based, grounded in evidence-based practices and genuine human connection. Drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy, I tailor treatment to each client's unique needs and goals. My mission is to help clients deepen self-awareness, strengthen relationships, develop practical coping skills, and cultivate the mindset and emotional resilience needed to thrive in every area of life.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a welcoming, supportive, and judgment-free environment where they feel heard and understood. During our first session, we will discuss your current concerns, personal history, strengths, and goals for therapy. Together, we will identify areas for growth and develop a personalized plan to help you move toward healing, resilience, and lasting change.
