Great to meet you!

I firmly believe that we all want to be the best person we can be. Sometimes we make choices that seem good at the time but lead us in the wrong direction. As a professional counselor with years of experience in mental health and rehabilitation counseling, my purpose is to help my clients make healthier choices. I am a licensed professional counselor and a certified rehabilitation counselor. I prefer a relaxed a conversational tone in client sessions and focus on helping those who struggle with depression, anxiety, addiction, anger, and codependency.

My approach to therapy

I prefer to keep my sessions relaxed and low-key. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing to help my client identify habits, patterns, and stories that are not useful. Then I help my clients learn skills to help them establish new patterns and stories that are more useful for them.

What you can expect from me

Because I use CBT, there will often be homework for my clients. After all, the goal is to help my clients to eventually no longer need me. The skills we build in session, reinforced in daily life, can be applied to any new issues that arise in the future.
