Great to meet you!

I was born and raised on the island of Kauai in Hawaii where I developed a profound appreciation for diverse cultures. I graduated with my bachelors of science in Family Resources at the University of Hawaii and then later completed my masters of science in Professional Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy at Grand Canyon University. I am also trained in brainspotting and have a lot of experience with using brainspotting.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is client-centered while being flexible using interventions tailored to the client. I put a lot of emphasis on building a safe environment and pairing with the client to build trust. My greatest strength as a therapist is the ability to connect with client's on their unique level. I tend to take a trauma approach when looking for the root of the problem. This is where I am able to use brainspotting to help my client's process at deeper levels and promote effective healing

What you can expect from me

Client's have told me that they feel safe, welcomed, and that they can connect with me. Client's can also expect to feel a sense of peace and healing from whatever trauma has been impacting their life.
