Great to meet you!

I believe you are more than your symptoms, diagnoses, or past experiences. Therapy can help you reconnect with your strengths, values, and capacity for growth.

As a psychotherapist, researcher, educator, and author, I help adolescents and adults better understand themselves, overcome challenges, Ketamine assisted psychotherapy and create meaningful change. By combining psychological science with compassionate, individualized care, I help you understand not only what is happening in your life, but why it is happening and how change can occur.

Whether you're struggling with depression, anxiety, ADHD, relationship difficulties, grief, addiction, life transitions, LGBTQ+ concerns, or other emotional challenges, my goal is to help you build resilience, strengthen relationships, and create a more fulfilling and authentic life. When appropriate, I also collaborate with psychiatrists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.

My approach to therapy

I believe effective therapy combines psychological science with a genuine human connection. Research helps us understand what works, but meaningful change often occurs when you feel understood, supported, and challenged to grow.

No two people are alike, and I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. Together, we will develop a treatment plan that reflects your unique needs, strengths, goals, and life experiences.

Drawing upon decades of clinical experience, doctoral research focused on ADHD and mental health, and more than 850 professional presentations—including work with Harvard Medical School, New York University Langone Medical Center, and Massachusetts General Hospital—I integrate current psychological science with practical strategies that support lasting change.

My international work as a citizen ambassador and educator in China, Egypt, Australia, England, and the Czech Republic strengthened my appreciation for the ways culture, family, identity, and life experiences shape who we are. Whatever your background, I strive to create an environment where you feel respected, understood, and valued.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel like a big step. You may be feeling overwhelmed, uncertain, or simply ready for something to change. Whatever brings you here, my goal is to provide a welcoming and supportive environment where you feel comfortable talking openly about your concerns.

Many people tell me they were nervous before their first appointment. That's completely understandable, and we'll work at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

During our first session, I'll take time to understand what brings you to therapy, the challenges you're facing, your strengths, and what you hope to achieve. You'll also have an opportunity to ask questions and decide whether working together feels like a good fit.

Most clients leave their first session with greater clarity, a better understanding of how we can work together, and a sense of direction for moving forward. Together, we'll begin building a path toward the changes you would like to see in your life.
