My name is John DeBisceglie and I am a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. I have over 14 years of clinical practice experience and have worked with individuals across the lifespan. I have a background in working with adolescents (12 to 20) and adults (20 to 65) in particular. I have significant experience treating ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, OCD, trauma and various mood concerns.
I have a holistic and person/family centered approach to treatment. I think it is important to hear the individual and work with them to establish their goals for treatment. I view treatment as a partnership to support individual growth. My appointments are more than just a focus on medication management and incorporate therapeutic work as well.
My clients typically tell me that they feel heard and that our treatment plan is centered around their needs. We start with building a rapport to feel comfortable in our treatment journey together. By the time a treatment plan is developed client's often tell me that I spend time with them and provide education on treatment approaches so they can make the best informed decision on their care.
