Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who works with adults dealing with anxiety, depression, sleep problems, stress, and feeling stuck or overwhelmed by life. I take a person-first approach that is supportive, practical, and focused on helping people make meaningful progress—not just talk about problems.

Clients often describe me as approachable, easy to talk to, and grounded. I believe therapy works best when you feel comfortable being honest, but I also believe sessions should have direction and purpose. I balance support with structure so we can focus on realistic changes that improve your day-to-day life.

I’ve spent my career working with Veterans and adults facing real-world challenges, and that experience shapes how I show up in therapy: direct, respectful, and focused on helping people regain clarity, confidence, and stability.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, practical, and goal-oriented. I use a mix of supportive psychotherapy, CBT, ACT, Motivational Interviewing, and talk therapy to help clients better understand what’s keeping them stuck and develop healthier ways of coping and moving forward.

I focus on creating a space where clients feel supported and understood, while also helping them build concrete tools and strategies they can use outside of session. Therapy with me is not just about venting—it’s about identifying patterns, building insight, and making changes that actually fit your life.

I tailor treatment to each person rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. Whether someone is struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, sleep issues, burnout, or life transitions, my goal is to help them feel more grounded, capable, and aligned with the life they want to live.

What you can expect from me

The first session is focused on getting to know you and understanding what brought you to therapy. We’ll talk about the challenges you’re facing, what’s been working or not working, and what you hope to get out of treatment.

My style is conversational, supportive, and straightforward. I want clients to feel comfortable being themselves without feeling judged or pressured. At the same time, I like sessions to have direction, so we’ll begin identifying goals and discussing practical ways to start moving forward.

You do not need to have everything figured out before coming in. The first session is simply a starting point—a chance for us to build a clear picture of where you are now and what meaningful progress could look like for you.
