Great to meet you!

J.M. Evosevich, PhD, LMFT, CADC, BCBA, RN is a licensed MFT specializing in individuals and couples. He has more than 30 years of experience working in healthcare and mental health with a specialization in couples therapy. He has successfully created individualized care for people with mental health and substance abuse disorders.

My approach to therapy

I have worked with individuals & couples with intimacy, infidelity, trust, and resentment concerns. I have a calm demeanor that makes people feel comfortable and able to lessen defenses to be safely vulnerable. Resilience is key in our ever-changing world and to help people have a way of finding solutions to create a happier life. I think mistakes are not failures but ways to learn and grow. Relationships are the most important parts of our lives; they are our true wealth as human beings.

What you can expect from me

I believe that resiliency is the key to being emotionally healthy, as it gives one a chance to see their strengths and have the confidence to make decisions and manage the stressors of life. I have successfully helped people navigate stressful and socially-isolating times, assisting them with emotions, stress, intimacy, or current life challenges. Mental health remains a stigmatized issue, but my hope is that everyone can get the help they need to create a calmer, healthier, and happier life.
