Great to meet you!

I work with adults who feel stuck in patterns that they understand intellectually but still have trouble changing. This often includes anxiety, intrusive thoughts, health anxiety, relationship difficulties, shame, grief, career stress, or simply a growing sense that the way they’ve been living isn’t working anymore.

My style is warm, thoughtful, direct, and collaborative. I believe good therapy involves more than learning ways to feel better in the moment. Together, we'll work to understand the patterns keeping you stuck, what drives them, and how to begin responding differently.

My approach to therapy

I don't believe there's one approach that works for everyone. Some of our work may involve looking at the thoughts and behaviors that keep anxiety going. At other times, we'll slow things down and try to understand what's happening underneath—the emotions you avoid, the ways you've learned to protect yourself, and patterns that continue even when you know they're no longer helping.

Insight is important, but I don't believe insight alone creates change. Our work will focus on helping you understand yourself more clearly while practicing new ways of responding to anxiety, discomfort, uncertainty, relationships, and the situations that tend to pull you back into old patterns.

What you can expect from me

I have extensive experience working with anxiety, including health anxiety, OCD and intrusive thoughts, panic, chronic worry, and the reassurance and avoidance patterns that often accompany them.

I also work with people struggling with relationship difficulties, anger and emotion regulation, shame and self-criticism, grief and loss, career dissatisfaction, life transitions, and feeling stuck or disconnected from the life they want to be living.

You can expect me to be engaged and active in our work together. I'll listen carefully and make room for what's difficult, but I'll also ask questions, point out patterns, and help us stay curious about what may be happening beneath the surface. My goal is to create a space where you can be honest about what's happening while also working toward meaningful change.
