Great to meet you!

Hi! I'm Brian Gibson and I would like to help you find ways to get to your best life. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor with 23 years of experience in the field. I've worked with clients of all ages, but primarily work with adults trying to navigate the twists and turns life can throw at us. In addition to working with general mental health and well-being I also specialize in working with substance use/misuse as an Internationally Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor.

My approach to therapy

I would like to help you identify the goals that you have for your life, where you would like to go in therapy, and come up with a plan to get us there. Along the way you can expect genuine respect, empathy, and kindness as I feel this work is best done with compassion and care. I utilize evidenced based therapies and models to make sure that our time is well spent and that we are focused on the changes you want to see in your life.

What you can expect from me

I want you to not only feel you are moving forward with your goals and in therapy, but that you are not alone on this journey. We will work together as you decide where you would like to go to make sure your goals are accomplishable, manageable, and also lead to real change in your life. I look forward to our conversations.
