As a license marriage and family therapist, I have spent over 10 years working in with individuals, couples, and families to better understand themselves and the people around them. My clinical training in Los Angeles and New York was specialized in LGBT Affirmative Psychotherapy.
Leading with gentleness and curiosity, my approach is a combination of warm and rational. I integrate mindfulness-based cognitive therapy with emotionally-focussed therapy. The goal often is to lead us to deeper insight and greater self-acceptance.
Goals for treatment are a collaborative and evolving process, recognizing that sometimes we know exactly what we want to work on and other times it becomes more clear with time.
