Great to meet you!

After 31 years as a licensed professional counselor, I still start every relationship the same way: by listening. I work with adults and seniors facing anxiety, depression, grief, physical health challenges, and strain in family or other relationships. Many of my clients are navigating a loss, a new diagnosis, or family issues that feel bigger than they can carry alone. I bring a steady, participatory style, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and family-focused approaches, so you have an active partner, not just someone taking notes.

My approach to therapy

Together we will gure out what approach actually helps you, not a one-size-ts-all plan. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is central to my work: we look at the thoughts and patterns driving anxiety, depression, or grief, and build real tools for your week. When family relationships are part of the picture, I bring in strategic and cognitive behavioral family therapy so change holds at home, not just in the room.

What you can expect from me

Our rst session is mostly a listening session: I want to understand what brought you in before we build a plan together. Expect some intake paperwork, then a collaborative process where we check in often on what is working. Many clients tell me the relief starts with nally being heard, and steadies from there as we move toward your goals.
