Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Therapist with over five years of experience in intensive behavioral health services. My clinical background includes working with children, adolescents, and families navigating emotional, behavioral, and relational challenges. I have experience supporting individuals with anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, emotional regulation difficulties, and relationship challenges. I am particularly interested in working with adolescents and young adults as they navigate identity, relationships, independence, and life transitions, while also welcoming adults seeking a better understanding of themselves and their experiences.

My approach to therapy

I believe meaningful change begins with feeling understood. My approach is person-centered and collaborative, with an emphasis on understanding the experiences, relationships, and patterns that shape how we see ourselves and navigate the world. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms or behaviors, I want to understand the person behind them. I see therapy as a process of exploration, not a place where you are expected to have all the answers or be told how to live your life. Together, we can make sense of difficult emotions, recognize existing strengths, and develop new ways of approaching challenges.

What you can expect from me

Whether this is your first time in therapy or having to start all over from previous therapy experiences, Starting therapy can feel intimidating, one might feel pressure to have know exactly what the problem is but not exactly knowing how to communicate it. Our first session is an opportunity to get to know one another, discuss what brings you to therapy, and begin identifying what you hope to get out of the experience. You don’t need to have everything figured out or know exactly what to say, this is a collaborative and warm approach where we work togther to figure out just that. I’ll ask questions to better understand your experiences, concerns, and goals, while leaving room for you to share at your own pace. We’ll also talk about what you can expect from working together and whether my approach feels like a good fit for you.
