Great to meet you!

I'm John. I obtained my Masters in Clinical Counseling Psychology from Valdosta State University in 2005 and have been using my skills to help clients in a variety of settings. I like to approach my practice with genuineness, humor, and aim to be present with clients.

My approach to therapy

I approach counseling from a collaborative perspective. In sessions, I hope to explore those experiences that cause distress in a safe environment and focus on the emotional impact in hopes of finding meaningful and rational means of coping.

What you can expect from me

Our first session will consist of developing rapport and establishing a therapeutic contract. I want clients to feel safe and heard so we can approach future sessions.
