Great to meet you!

John has practiced counseling since 2008. He has worked at Reclamation Center for five years. In addition to his counseling career, he is a retired career USAF officer and a former licensed Nursing Home Administrator for 24 years. He works primarily with adults and couples but has had clients as young as 11.

My approach to therapy

My approach is to get to know our client while demonstrating my understanding and support. In our initial session my goal is for the client to feel comfortable and understood. As we explore their problems and obtain insights, we apply techniques to empower the client to solve their problems and feel better about themselves. As a Christian Counseling Center, we strive to heal the mind, the body and the spirit.

What you can expect from me

Thanks to what might be called the Miracle of Therapy, my clients feel relieved as though a heavy burden had been lifted off of their shoulders. They feel optimistic having hope for the ultimate resolution of their problems and confidence that they can deal effectively when future challenges arise. They come to love and accept themselves. Many learn new ways to de-stress and achieve a sense of peace in their lives.
