Great to meet you!

My name is John Michael Jennings and as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, I'm passionate about creating a supportive space for clients to process what they're feeling and what they've been through. I believe that therapy is about helping people figure out how to live a life that's most authentic to who they are. I specialize in working with clients who are navigating depression, anxiety, ADHD, Autism, difficult family dynamics, complex trauma, and questions about gender identity and/or sexuality.

My approach to therapy

I believe that therapy is a collaborative effort, and would love to help you gain the insight and understanding to live a more fulfilling and balanced life. My approach is grounded in psychodynamic, relational, and Attachment-Based modalities. That means that I help clients to process past experiences, understand their unique challenges, and to feel empowered to engage with life in a new way.

What you can expect from me

In each therapy session, my goal is to create a space for you to share openly and to feel supported in processing through things that are often difficult to talk about. I hope that clients leave our time together with a deeper understanding of themselves, feeling empowered to live a life full of balance, connection, and meaning.
