Great to meet you!

I am a PhD trained and licensed psychotherapist with board certification in music therapy, and dual certification in child life. I am a warm and naturally empathic human being, indelibly shaped by my own life experiences, Processed and integrated at a conscious level, I have found that my own experiences in life inform my therapeutic presence and ability to connect on a human level.

A bit about my approach to therapy

As a humanistic-existential therapist, my approach to working with others is imbued with the belief that every human being is entitled to happiness, a sense of wholeness, and self-actualization according to their own terms. Individualizing the psychotherapy process through the additional use of music and other arts allows for unique therapeutic entry points into the self actualizing process.

What you can expect from our first session

Clients can expect warmth and compassion within an approach that is goal-directed. A client's decision to pursue therapy should be self-motivated and volitional to embark upon a path to wellness as they determine it to be. As a therapist, I am invested in supporting each client on their chosen path.
