Great to meet you!

Most people who reach out to me have been circling the same problem for a while, aware that something needs to change but not quite sure how to get there. I work with adults and older adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship stress, and the particular weight that comes from managing a chronic illness or physical health condition alongside everything else. My approach is collaborative and practical: I'm not here to tell you what to do, but to work alongside you as we figure out what's actually keeping you stuck and what a real path forward looks like for you.

My approach to therapy

Understanding you and your particular situation is where we start. Early in our work together, we focus on identifying the patterns that keep showing up in your life, whether in your relationships, your mood, your responses to stress, or the way you think about what's possible. From there, we work toward concrete, achievable goals. I find that the people who do well in this kind of work aren't necessarily looking for someone to fix them. They want a thoughtful partner who takes their experience seriously and helps them see their challenges from a new angle.

What you can expect from me

The first session is relaxed and conversational. We'll talk about what brought you in, what you've been dealing with, and what you're hoping to get out of our time together. The goal isn't to fix anything right away but to start building a shared understanding of where you are and what moving forward could actually look like. If you're looking for a straightforward, collaborative approach to working through what's been weighing on you, I'd welcome the chance to connect.
