Great to meet you!

I help adults and couples who feel stuck in patterns they understand intellectually but still can’t seem to change. My approach is direct, compassionate, and practical—we’ll look beneath the symptoms to understand what’s driving them and work toward meaningful, lasting change. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, trauma, or simply realizing that something in your life isn’t working anymore, you don’t have to have everything figured out before you walk through the door. Therapy is where we start figuring it out together.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, direct, and highly collaborative. I don’t believe therapy should simply be a place to talk about what happened each week; I want us to understand the deeper patterns, beliefs, experiences, and relationships that are shaping how you think, feel, and respond today. I often see my role as an interpreter—helping you make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface and recognize patterns that can be difficult to see from inside them. I’ll offer compassion and support, but I’ll also challenge you when I believe it can help you grow. Ultimately, my goal is to help you develop greater insight, make intentional choices, and create changes that continue long after therapy ends.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin making sense of what brought you to therapy. I’ll ask questions about what’s happening in your life, the experiences and relationships that have shaped you, and what you’d like to be different—but you won’t be expected to tell your entire life story in an hour. Just as importantly, I want you to get a feel for me and decide whether I’m someone you can trust and work well with. By the end of our first meeting, my goal is for you to feel understood, have greater clarity about what we might work on together, and leave with a sense that there is a path forward.
