Great to meet you!

I work with men and women who have endured past trauma and have trouble navigating work, relationships, and life on a day-to-day basis. Anger, rage, shame, addiction, anxiety, hiding, emotional cut-offs, broken relationships, isolation, and depression often come from a deeper pain and past trauma.

My approach to therapy

We don't always have the words to address these issues or feel like we're "allowed to" have them. We can compartmentalize and focus on "just getting the next job done", but after a while we have to deal with our emotional pain as it may keep us from moving forward.

EMDR, grounding, mindfulness, and finding words for what's really going on. Therapy is a safe place to take time to work on the problem.

What you can expect from me

Don't give up - keep looking until you find the right Therapist. This is an invitation to share sacred ground. You have to be able to trust your Therapist, to know you won't be judged, and be willing to open your heart. The Therapeutic relationship is about healthy attachment with the goal of your independence and autonomy.
