Great to meet you!

I have been sober for the past 8 years. I understand the crippling anxiety, depression, shame and guilt that accompany substance use. I have a Master degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and have been serving this population for the past 3 years. I have a true desire and passion to help others achieve long term recovery from substance use disorder.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I believe for many of us substance use started off as our solution to a number of problems such as trauma, anxiety, or depression until it became the major outwardly visible problem. I believe by getting to the root issue while learning how to cope with cravings and every day life clients have the best chance at recovery My client's can expect to be challenged and empowered throughout our sessions while they seek out their own truth.

What you can expect from our first session

My client's can expect to walk away from our sessions with the knowledge, application, and foundation to achieve long term recovery. They can expect to feel empowered and ready to face the world without the need for substances to escape from or numb their pain.
