Great to meet you!

At 29, several years into a career path, I recognized that so many of the people I encountered were struggling emotionally or desiring a deeper connection with a significant other – and I was ill-equipped to help them. That desire to not simply put a band-aid on an issue or refer them to another person, having no idea whether they would truly receive the help they needed, was the motivation I needed to begin my own journey of change.

It took years of hard work, countless early mornings and late nights to complete my degree. You see, when I started back to school, I was married and had three children. Like most other people I was juggling so many things. The only way I made it through was with the help of great people who came alongside me and guided me through the process.

My approach to therapy

We work with highly motivated individuals, couples, and families who have decided the time is now to do something different. We have helped many clients stop the merry-go-round and set a new direction for their lives.

With your goals of therapy in mind, we can work together using therapeutic interventions uniquely designed for your situation. With the knowledge and the tools that you will gain, you will be able to: See the cycle more clearly, understand where and how to interrupt the cycle, and establish a more fulfilling path forward.

What you can expect from me

I am here to come alongside and guide. From the first call to the last session, there will be nothing hidden. Collaborative goals will be established, and a unique plan designed. Tools will be provided that can be applied over and over in many of life’s situations.

Analogies will be given in memorable story form that can be recalled long after sessions have ended. Every step of the way there will be clearly defined next steps in the process of change. There is comfort in understanding where we have been and knowing where we are going.
