Great to meet you!

I began working in mental health in 1971, starting with children in residential treatment. I quickly discovered how much I valued this work and decided to continue building my career in the field. Since then, I have worked in a variety of settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and private practice, which has given me a broad perspective on supporting people through different stages of life.

My approach to therapy

My years in mental health have shaped a thoughtful, steady, and compassionate approach to care. In addition to working directly with clients, I have also supervised and taught graduate students, which reflects my commitment to growth, learning, and supporting others. I bring both professional depth and real life experience to my work, including an understanding of aging and the transitions that come with it.

What you can expect from me

You can expect a therapist who brings experience, perspective, and genuine care to the work we do together. After more than five decades in the mental health field, I value creating a space where clients feel supported, understood, and respected. My goal is to offer care informed by both longstanding clinical experience and the wisdom that comes from living through many seasons of life.
