Great to meet you!

Hopeful I can help.

Throughout my work and own life experience I believe strongly in the power of therapeutic connection. While I have only held my LPC for one year, I have been practicing in the behavioral health field for over fifteen years and strongly believe that each individual's case is unique and should be treated as such. Much of my experience has come from working with substance use and other cooccurring disorders, with a variety of populations.

My approach to therapy

Believing strongly in the power of connection I utilize a person-centered approach focused on building trust. By providing a space to be vulnerable, I believe I can help you explore and understand the personal history that has lead to problematic beliefs, thoughts, and/or behaviors. From this insight and understanding comes a desire for change and a sense of hope that change is possible.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, you can expect a warm, welcoming, and non-judgmental environment where you feel heard and respected. My goal is to create a safe space for you to share your thoughts and feelings openly. We’ll start by discussing what brought you to therapy, your goals, and any concerns you may have. This session helps us get to know each other, build rapport, and outline a personalized plan tailored to your needs. My hope is you’ll leave with a clearer understanding of the therapeutic process and a sense of direction and hope for your journey toward growth and healing.
