Great to meet you!

I am a Marriage and Family Therapist that focuses heavily on relational and familial issues and how they can affect mental health and emotional well-being. I believe that taking the first step in going to therapy is difficult, and finding a therapist you trust and vibe with is hard as well, so it is my goal with every client I have to be very intentional with building rapport and having my clients feel safe and ready to start their therapeutic journey to the fullest. If you're looking for more professional jargon, I finished my MFT degree at the University of Saint Joseph and specialize using different modalities like CBT, EFT, IFS, Narrative Therapy and Experiential Therapy. I have also been trained in Gottman Method and EMDR.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is to understand my client first and foremost. I truly believe that if you don't build great rapport with your client, therapy will not work. That also goes both ways. So who I am outside of my office is the same man in the office and you're getting my true, authentic self as well.

What you can expect from me

The first session is more informational than it is therapeutic just because insurances need a lot of information legally and ethically to make sure you're getting the best care. After the first session is when things get more therapeutic and we can delve into the reasonings that brought you into therapy, as well as that rapport building I was emphasizing.
