Great to meet you!

Hi there, my name is John and over the past 16+ years of my experience I've focused on providing care to individuals/couples/families experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, crises, substance abuse and anger management.

I provided drug and alcohol abuse prevention, intervention, screening and counseling with the USCG Substance

Abuse Prevention Team, provided training as an instructor at the USCG Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) School, and was a nationally registered EMT for 30+ years.

My approach to therapy

One of my greatest desires is to continue working to serve our communities. I also hope to

continue with my personal exploration and growth in compassionate regard for all of humanity

through continued research and experience, ongoing education, and contemplative,

meditative, mindful spiritual practice.

What you can expect from me

Since 1994 I have continuously volunteered as a youth mentor providing education, coaching and leadership with BSA Scouting America, the Unified School District, Boys and Girls Clubs, Little League, Pop Warner Football and CYO Basketball, lead the Annual Mexico Housebuilding Mission and play drums on Sunday at a local church.
