Great to meet you!

Life can become overwhelming, especially when you are accustomed to being the person others rely on. I work with adults, couples, and families dealing with stress, relationship challenges, major life transitions, trauma, and the demands of high-pressure careers. I have particular experience working with professionals, first responders, military and federal employees, and people who may be more comfortable solving problems on their own than asking for help.

I understand that seeking therapy can feel unfamiliar, particularly for people who are used to maintaining control, performing under pressure, or putting the needs of others first. My goal is to provide a straightforward and confidential environment where you can speak openly, gain perspective, and develop practical tools that are useful outside of the therapy room.

I am currently accepting new clients for both in-person and teletherapy appointments. Initial consultations are free. If you are paying out of pocket, please feel free to ask about sliding-scale options.

My approach to therapy

My approach is grounded in existential and humanistic therapy, with an emphasis on increasing self-awareness, developing greater acceptance, and helping clients make intentional choices about how they want to live and move forward. I also incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based strategies, and EMDR interventions based on each client's individual needs and goals.

My therapeutic style is collaborative, practical, compassionate, and free from judgment. Therapy does not have to mean simply talking about problems. Together, we can identify patterns that may be getting in your way, develop effective strategies for managing stress and difficult emotions, improve relationships and communication, and strengthen your ability to handle challenges both personally and professionally.

I also offer Hogan personality assessment for clients interested in greater self-awareness, career development, and professional growth.

What you can expect from me

I hope to be able to give you a safe environment to share any problems, and work together to build the skills to manage those problems.
