Great to meet you!

I'm an empathic listener who builds rapport and trust with my clients by establishing a safe and supportive environment so that the therapeutic relationship can grow. It's through this process that clients learn new skills and then apply to their situations, beliefs, thoughts and emotions. I use sports metaphors and creativity to connect difficult emotions to applicable empowerment strategies.

My approach to therapy

My approach with clients is Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy. So what does that mean exactly? Simply put, our thoughts influence the emotions we experience on a daily basis. These thoughts reflect individual beliefs we have about relationships, society, family, love, career and overall self-image. This process influences and drives our behaviors.

What you can expect from me

Client's have commented they feel heard, seen, and empowered through our sessions. Many feel that the sessions have made self discovery and introspection easier to attain and manage. My hope for all my clients is that they have a better tolerance for all their unique parts, experiences and hurts as a byproduct of the therapeutic bond created in session.
