Great to meet you!

I am doctoral-trained therapist who integrates evidenced based clinical practices in ways that can meet your unique needs/challenges. For instance, I will utilize your strengths, resources and culture in order to explore problems from multiple vantage points. Whether you are experiencing family problems, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges or another issue, I will facilitate conversations where solutions to the problem become more accessible and visible.

My approach to therapy

These are times of uncertainty and challenges for many people. Each person, relationship and family is impacted differently. I am trained to work with individuals, couples, children and families; hence, I am prepared to offer you or your family comprehensive and tailored recommendations.

I use a strength-based-integrative approach: Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Collaborative Therapy and Family Systems. I also utilize evidence based practices informed by DBT and Mindfulness.

What you can expect from me

I believe my clients have the capacity and agency to take actions that are right for them:

You can expect to be seen, heard and respected. I adopt a non-judgmental stance when looking at problems and predicaments in your life. I adopt a neutral and collaborative stance when working with couples. Once we have established trust, you can expect to be challenged. Also, my expectation is that you will engage in your own unique process. And, that you will remain committed to achieving your goals.
