Great to meet you!

I’m John Williams, a Fort Worth-based licensed counselor with about 10 years of telehealth experience, and I currently offer fully remote care. Over the years, I’ve seen how easy it is for people to keep pushing through stress, discouragement, and emotional exhaustion without giving themselves much room to slow down. It’s meaningful to be trusted with that kind of vulnerability, and I don’t take it lightly. I want therapy to feel steady, respectful, and human—somewhere you can speak honestly, feel safe enough to let your guard down, and leave with a stronger sense of your own direction.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, grounded, and practical. After a decade of telehealth work, I know therapy can still feel deeply personal, connected, and effective—even through a screen. I focus on creating a space where we can sort through what is weighing on you, make sense of patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and identify next steps that feel realistic for your life. My hope is that our work helps you feel more emotionally steady, more confident in your decisions, and more able to move through life with clarity instead of carrying everything alone.

What you can expect from me

We’ll start by turning down the outside noise and focusing on what feels heaviest for you right now. In that first conversation, my goal is to understand what has been weighing on you, what support would actually feel helpful, and what kind of change you’re hoping for. You can expect a calm, focused session where we begin building trust and a plan that feels realistic, supportive, and useful from the start.

In our first sessions, we'll explore questions like: What would healing or progress look like for you? What is bothering you the most? What changes would you hope to see in your life? These conversations help guide our work together and ensure therapy is focused on what matters most to you.
