Great to meet you!

My therapy practice provides a safe, open-minded, and warm environment where clients are met with genuine acceptance and deep respect. I take an affirming approach, honoring every individual's unique identity, background, and lived experience.

As the proud child of Salvadoran immigrants who came to the U.S. for a better life for their children due to the traumas of a war-torn country, I hold a deep reverence for family, sacrifice, and resilience.

I hold a Bachelor’s in Psychology and a Master of Social Work (MSW) from California State University, Northridge. My clinical foundation is built on 6 years of clinical practice.

By utilizing a holistic framework, I look at the whole picture—how your mental, emotional, physical, spiritual, and environmental factors intersect. While navigating deep challenges, I believe in bringing humorous, lighthearted moments into the room when appropriate to ease tension and foster connection.

In my private practice, I serve adults navigating life's challenges. Clinical treatment areas include supporting individuals through family issues, anxiety, depression, and grief and loss viewed through a lens of profound cultural humility to honor your lived experience.

My goal is to help you build resilience, recognize your strengths, and take an active role in your growth. We maintain a solution-oriented focus, developing practical strategies to overcome obstacles and create lasting change.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic style is comprehensive, culturally grounded, and focused on practical outcomes. I view your well-being through an all-encompassing lens, examining how your mind, emotions, body, spirit, and surroundings all connect. I provide this support within an inclusive, non-judgmental, and inviting space where your personal history and identity are truly validated. When we explore relational dynamics or personal hardships, I approach our conversations with a deep respect for your background, ensuring your personal narrative remains the priority. I like to balance our deep clinical work with a touch of lightheartedness, comfortably using wit and humor to cut through tension and strengthen our bond. Above all, our time together is centered on compassion and partnership, working side-by-side to uncover your natural strengths, build real-world tools, and spark meaningful evolution in your life.

What you can expect from me

You can expect an inviting, non-judgmental space where the main goal is for us to get to know each other and see how we click. We will begin laying the groundwork for our partnership by exploring your background and identity at a pace that feels safe for you, ensuring your personal narrative is respected from day one. Building trust and connection is a must before the growth work begins.
