Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Johnathan, and I believe therapy is most effective when you feel genuinely heard, understood, and supported. I strive to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where we can work together to navigate life’s challenges and build on your strengths. Over the past 10 years, I’ve had the privilege of working in a variety of mental health settings, including inpatient care, substance use treatment, school-based therapy, outpatient therapy, and with first responders. I am also trained in EMDR and have experience helping clients work through trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, and other life difficulties. Whether you’re feeling stuck or seeking personal growth, my goal is to help you find healing, hope, and greater alignment in your life.

My approach to therapy

I believe that meaningful change begins with a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, authenticity, and compassion. My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to each client’s unique needs, drawing from evidence-based practices to help you develop practical skills while addressing the deeper issues that may be keeping you stuck. I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, grief, and life transitions, and I am trained in EMDR to help clients process traumatic experiences and move toward lasting healing. Whether you’re seeking support as an individual, couple, family, or first responder, my goal is to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, challenged, and empowered to create meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a foundation of trust. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, explore your personal history, identify your goals, and discuss what you hope to gain from the counseling process. I strive to create a relaxed, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you can feel comfortable sharing at your own pace. Together, we’ll develop a plan that is tailored to your needs and helps you move toward meaningful, lasting change.
