Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Johnathon — a Licensed Professional Counselor passionate about helping people move from feeling anxious, stuck, or overwhelmed to feeling calm, confident, and in control again. I specialize in working with individuals who are ready for lasting change and want to better understand themselves, their emotions, and their relationships.

My background includes extensive work with anxiety disorders, trauma, OCD, ADHD, and stress-related challenges. I believe therapy should feel both supportive and practical — a space where you’re seen, understood, and guided toward real growth. My approach blends empathy with structure so that each session moves you closer to the relief and clarity you’ve been hoping for.

My approach to therapy

Therapy with me is collaborative and focused on creating lasting change, not just coping day-to-day. I use evidence-based methods such as CBT, DBT, and ACT to help you identify unhelpful patterns, regulate emotions, and build skills that truly work in your real life.

For those who feel stuck in painful or intrusive memories, I also offer Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) — a powerful approach that helps resolve emotional distress quickly and without having to relive trauma in detail. My goal is for every session to leave you feeling more grounded, capable, and confident in handling whatever comes next.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll focus on understanding what’s been weighing on you and where you want to go. You’ll have space to share your story at your own pace while I help clarify what’s keeping you stuck and how we can begin to shift it.

You can expect to leave with a clear plan, practical tools, and a sense of direction — not just insight, but small, actionable steps toward relief. My hope is that you’ll walk away feeling understood, supported, and optimistic about what’s ahead.
