Great to meet you!

What clients should know about me is that I genuinely care about the people I serve. I bring more than a decade of healthcare experience to my work as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, including over 10 years as a Registered Nurse with both critical care and psychiatric backgrounds. These experiences have shaped my ability to remain calm, attentive, and compassionate while supporting patients through some of the most difficult moments in their lives.

I come from a strong, family-oriented background and was raised with values centered on integrity, respect, and service to others. Those values continue to guide how I care for my patients today. I believe every person deserves to be heard, understood, and treated with dignity.

My goal as a provider is not only to treat symptoms, but to empower individuals to take an active role in their mental health and overall well-being. I strive to create a safe, supportive environment where patients feel comfortable being open about their struggles and goals. I enjoy encouraging, affirming, and helping people recognize their strengths while working together to develop effective treatment plans.

I am also committed to lifelong learning and professional growth. I continue to expand my knowledge to provide the most up-to-date, evidence-based care for my patients.

Above all, I approach each patient with compassion, respect, and the belief that positive change is possible. My goal is to walk alongside individuals on their journey toward improved mental health, stability, and a better quality of life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to providing care is centered on compassion, respect, and truly listening to each individual. I believe that effective mental health treatment begins with understanding a person’s story, concerns, and goals. I take the time to listen carefully and ensure that patients feel heard, valued, and supported throughout their care.

I strive to treat every patient the way I would want my own family members to be treated—with dignity, patience, and genuine concern. My goal is not simply to check boxes or rush through appointments, but to build meaningful therapeutic relationships where patients feel comfortable being open about their experiences.

I believe mental health care should be collaborative. I work closely with my patients to develop personalized treatment plans that may include therapy, medication management, and supportive guidance tailored to their unique needs. I am committed to creating a safe, nonjudgmental environment where individuals feel empowered to take an active role in their healing and growth.

Above all, I am deeply invested in helping people improve their quality of life. I believe in encouraging, affirming, and supporting patients as they work toward stability, resilience, and long-term mental wellness.

What you can expect from me

During the first visit, my priority is to take the time to truly get to know you as a person. We will talk about your current concerns, your personal history, and the goals you have for your life and mental health. I believe understanding who you are—beyond just symptoms—is an important part of providing meaningful and effective care.

Our initial appointment is also an opportunity for you to get to know me and my approach to treatment. I strive to create a comfortable, supportive environment where you feel safe sharing your experiences openly and honestly.

Together, we will begin developing a plan that supports your mental health and overall well-being. My approach is collaborative, meaning I want you to feel involved and empowered in your care. Rather than feeling like treatment is being done “to” you, my goal is for us to work together—combining your experiences and goals with my clinical guidance to create a path forward.

By the end of the visit, you can expect to have a clearer understanding of your treatment options and the next steps we can take together to help you move toward improved stability, wellness, and quality of life.
