Jolene’s clinical treatment interventions come from an integration of psycho-dynamic depth psychology, human developmental, object relations and attachment, family systems, interpersonal relationships, trauma-focused and cognitive behavioral mindfulness techniques, and EMDR. My approach to therapy

Jolene’s therapeutic approach to therapy is tailored to your unique needs where you’ll have the opportunity to express and share who you are and what you hope to achieve in therapy. Collaborating together with a deep commitment to helping you heal and grow, and a strong belief in the power of authentic connection through a compassionate, non-judgmental, and empathetic environment with curiosity that allows you to feel comfortable sharing and being vulnerable, empowered and secure.

What you can expect from me

The first session will be a get-to-know you meeting focused on assessing your needs and building rapport. Though the idea of sharing your private thoughts and feelings with a stranger can seem scary or strange at first, talking to a therapist about your past, present, and future-about the things that make you feel sad, depressed, anxious, angry, or ashamed-can be a major relief. Therapy allows you to focus on yourself without having to worry about what someone else might think of you.
