Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 20 years of aiding and supporting those in need. I am a compassionate, empathic facilitator, listening without judgment and accepting of one’s thoughts and feelings.

My approach to therapy

I primarily use a Humanistic, Person-Centered Approach to counseling which allows clients to use their own understanding of their experiences as a foundation for change. Other approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Solution Focused Based Therapy. These approaches combined with other humanistic modalities are helpful for those who experience grief, anxiety, depression, stress, PTSD, relationship issues, life transitions and negative self-image.

What you can expect from me

Client's can expect to gain more self confidence, build and create healthy relationships, coping strategies to deal with life stressors, mindfulness practices to help reduce anxiety and residual effects of PTSD. I believe the relationship between the client and therapist is an important part of the therapeutic process. A partnership in which the therapist encourages, supports and guides a client toward making their own choices and decisions leading to healing and growth.
