Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Jon, and I’m genuinely glad to connect with you! It takes a lot of courage to take the first step towards therapy, and I’m here to support you on this journey.

In the meantime, I’d like to tell you a little about myself. I’ve been a practicing counselor for over 20 years. I earned my undergraduate and master's degrees in counseling psychology. I also have a Ph.D in English literature. I was a university professor for many years. I am fully Licensed as a Professional Counselor in the states of Colorado and Virginia. I am also a certifed ADHD coach. I have worked in various capacities within the mental health field over the years, this includes privative practice, social services, community mental health centers, schools and residential treatment centers.

My approach to therapy

My approach is rooted in person-centered psychology, which means our sessions will feel more like meaningful conversations. I believe that you have the answers within yourself, and together, we’ll uncover them—no flashing lights, tapping, or hypnotism involved.

What you can expect from me

I’m looking forward to getting to know you better and starting our work together.
